Will Levis’ live reaction to slipping out of the first round is an image that still lingers in the minds of fans. It also live rent free in the mind of Levis, who has reason to have a chip the size of a boulder on his shoulder. After getting talked up into being a potential nearly top pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Levis eventually has found his way into the conventional starting role this year with the Tennessee Titans.
It will be up to Levis to cash in on his opportunity, albeit in a seemingly less-than-hoped manner.

Will Levis gets general managers to regret skipping on him
The Titans quarterback had the chance to go to 32 teams on the first night of the draft last year. However, all declined to use a first-round pick and/or trade up to draft him. While Levis might give the Titans credit for finally selecting him in the second round, he has a mission to prove all 32 NFL squads wrong for skipping him in the first round—including his own.
Armed with revenge in mind as a massive piece of motivation, Levis takes off as the shiny new quarterback on the block. By the end of the year, all but the most stable general managers will have some level of doubt wondering how they might have been able to get Levis on their team.
Of course, after getting some measure of revenge, it remains a question whether Levis can do it again.
Demolishes rookie numbers
Levis put up eight touchdowns and four interceptions in his rookie season. As a rookie, the numbers are commendable from a ratio standpoint. However, there remained plenty of room for improvement after going 3-6 in his rookie year.
Not only will Levis beat his rookie winning percentage this season, but he will also put his rookie numbers to shame.
Armed with Calvin Ridley, Tony Pollard, and Tyler Boyd in addition to DeAndre Hopkins, the second-year signal-caller surges this season. For the first time in decades, the Titans will be a pass-first offense, and Levis will put division opponents such as Trevor Lawrence and CJ Stroud on notice.
Will Levis will lead the Titans to a de facto playoff game in Week 18
The Titans ride their rebuilt passing offense throughout the regular season, generating about 10 wins. Levis plays a key role in the surge. However, the quarterback doesn’t lock up anything ahead of Week 18. Almost like the Indianapolis Colts under Gardner Minshew, Levis will be faced with a win-and-in game in the final game of the season.
Whether he wins or loses it is up to his nerve on that day, but he gets a pat on the back for getting the Titans this far.
No matter how the games go, Will Levis will lead his team to an above .500 record for the first time since 2021.
