During the 2023 NFL season, Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce became arguably the biggest name in the league. Most of that had to do with the storylines surrounding his relationship with music icon Taylor Swift. He became the favorite player of girls who had never previously followed football.

While he is very well known for being Swift’s boyfriend, he is also one of the best tight ends that has ever played in the NFL.

For years, Kelce has terrorized opposing defenses. He has been a huge part of the dynasty that the Chiefs have built. Now, he’s preparing for the upcoming 2024 season as Kansas City goes for the impressive and rare three-peat as Super Bowl champions.

With a big season incoming, a massive number has come up showing just how dominant Kelce has been in recent years.

Chiefs Star Travis Kelce Has Insane Number To Note Since 2021

Pro Football Focus took to Twitter to share Kelce’s dominance since the 2021 NFL season. They have graded Kelce a 92.2 since that year, which places him first among all NFL tight ends.

Both George Kittle and Mark Andrews have been studs throughout that time period as well. Kelce is entering Rob Gronkowski territory when it comes to his all-time legacy. In fact, some believe that Kelce has passed Gronk for the title of “Best Tight End of All-Time.”

If the Chiefs are going to make another run at a Super Bowl win, which would be their third in a row, Kelce will be asked to shoulder a large workload once again.

During the 2023 season, Kelce ended up putting together another monstrous year. He racked up 93 receptions for 984 yards and five touchdowns. Those numbers were clutch, as Patrick Mahomes’ wide receivers were struggling worse than they ever have since he became the starting quarterback.

Thankfully, Kansas City was able to put together a big-time offseason. They brought in both Marquise “Hollywood” Brown and Xavier Worthy. Both of those wide receivers possess elite speed and will open up the big play once again.

Kelce was arguably the biggest winner outside of Mahomes thanks to the offseason moves. The explosive playmaking and speed will open up the field for Kelce. He will have a chance to have an even bigger season in 2024.

It will be interesting to see what kind of season Kelce and the Chiefs are able to have in 2024. They have a big target on their back while they pursue the elusive three-peat.

One thing is for sure, which is the fact that Travis Kelce is one of the best players in football and his presence along with Mahomes will always give the Chiefs a good shot.
