New York Jets RB Breece Hall Reacts To Major Rankings Disrespect

Breece Hall, Jets

The New York Jets are one of the NFL’s most exciting teams due to a lot of different factors, such as the club being in “win-now” mode with quarterback Aaron Rodgers and a lot of veteran pieces. However, it is one of the Jets’ younger players that is making headlines.

Running back Breece Hall was not too happy with the fact that CBS Sports’ Peter Prisco did not include his name in his Top 100 NFL Players list.

Hall expressed his displeasure on his X account, saying “there’s not 100 people better than me in the NFL.”

He may be correct about that one.

Hall had an outstanding 2023, as the former second-round pick finished last season with 223 rushing attempts for 994 yards (4.5 yards per carry) and five rushing touchdowns. He also was a solid contributor in the passing game with 76 catches for 591 yards (7.8 yards per reception) and four receiving touchdowns. He did all of that in spite of coming off a torn ACL that made him miss a majority of the 2022 season.

With Hall now entering 2024 at 100 percent and having a healthy Rodgers, plus an offensive unit that should be able to move the football in multiple ways, this is a great chance for Hall to continue unlocking his abilities in the NFL.

What should we expect out of the New York Jets this season?

The Jets did make some moves throughout the offseason and the team should improve as a result, specifically on the offensive side of the field.

The team is banking on a healthy season of Rodgers under center and signed a veteran backup in Tyrod Taylor, as well. The offensive line was completely revamped, with the signing of future Hall of Famer Tyron Smith, the trade for offensive guard John Simpson and the first-round selection of Olu Fashanu in this year’s draft.

New York was also able to add veteran wide receiver Mike Williams to join Garrett Wilson as a solid 1-2 punch out wide before. On top of that, it selected running back Braelon Allen in the fourth round of the draft.

This Jets team was 30th in passing yards per game, tied for 22nd in rushing yards and 29th in points in 2023, thanks much in part to Zach Wilson being forced to start just four snaps into the season. However, it appears Gang Green is prepared to be one of the more exciting offenses in the entire sport in 2024.

Only time will tell if Breece Hall and the Jets can be a top offensive team in the sport but on paper, few teams can match up with their talent.
