Maxx Crosby raised eyebrows with his ‘savage’ message for Bo Nix in Sunday’s game between the Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos.

Crosby sacked Nix twice but the rookie quarterback had the last laugh as he led the Broncos to a convincing 34-18 victory to improve to 3-2.

Meanwhile, the Raiders’ offense struggled immensely with Gardner Minshew throwing two interceptions before Aiden O’Connell replaced him. The backup QB then threw a pick himself.

Antonio Pierce’s team are now 2-3 and have yet to resolve wide receiver Davante Adams’ future.

The only positive for Raiders fans at the moment is that Crosby is in the form of his life – and he’s providing some added entertainment.

Maxx Crosby’s ‘savage’ message to Bo Nix

The Broncos’ players appeared confused at Nix’s instructions ahead of one play, prompting Raiders defensive end Crosby to come forward and yell at him.

“Bo! Speak up! They don’t f___ing know!” he shouted, via MLFootball.

And it is fair to say that several NFL fans found it hilarious. “Max is savage”, “he’s so funny” and “What a dawg” were among the many responses to the video.

However, some Broncos fans did not see the incident the same way and quickly pointed out that they won the game.

One wrote: “And then proceeded to get smoked by a rookie lol.” Another added: “Except they got whooped.”

Maxx Crosby in Defensive Player of the Year contention

Crosby is not one of the favourites to win the Defensive Player of the Year Award but he is certainly in the conversation.

The 27-year-old already has 17 tackles and 5.0 sacks through just five weeks of the 2024-25 NFL season.

Aidan Hutchinson, T.J. Watt, Nick Bosa and Chris Jones are some of the top defensive players Crosby would have to overcome to take home the award.
